The Alamo City to host 2023 PAGA National Golf Tournament and Convention

San Antonio— The San Antonio chapter of the Pan American Golf Association (PAGA) will serve as hosts of the 2023 National Tournament and Convention taking place July 24-28, 2023.

Being billed as “Welcome Back to the 210, Where it All Began”, the National Tournament was last in the Alamo City in 2013 and hosted over 2500 golfers and their families from all over the U.S.

Organizing tournaments for men, women, and junior golfers.

• Support civic and charitable organizations.

• Award Annual Scholarships to deserving area students.

• Provide junior golf with free clinics, equipment, and financial support.

The San Antonio Chapter (SAPAGA) was established in 1947. PAGA has over 2,100 active members in 37 cities throughout the United States. They foster the promotion and advancement of golf in our community through the following efforts:

Planning for the tournament has been underway since last year and SAPAGA President Lalo Gamboa and Vice President Richard Mayorga are excited to host this year’s National tournament.

“Our baord and team has been working together since after last year’s tournament in El Paso to ensure our golfers and their families enjoy everything that San Antonio has to offer. From the Riverwalk and the Alamo, to the fine courses we have booked for tournament play, it has been a rewarding experience that we look forward to sharing with our members and their families.”
