Boeing Center at Tech Port is San Antonio’s new and exciting way to enjoy entertainment. Boeing Center at Tech Port focus’s on events such as concerts and shows, while also having a gaming area where gamers can hone there skills by playing many of today’s games. I have heard of this place through various friends either going to a concert or hanging out there drinking coffee. Drinking coffee at a venue! No way!
On Sunday, Oct 22, I went to Boeing Center at Tech Port to attend the Skillet and Theory of a Deadman concert. This was my first time visiting Boeing Center, so I didn’t know what to expect. Once I was situated with parking and walked inside the venue, I was in such amazement. While walking around with my eyes wide open, a member of the Boeing Center at Tech Port team approached me and asked if it was my first time there. How did they know?
The staff member was very kind to me and discussed bit what is housed at the venue. I was in such shock to learn they had actual Tesla coils inside the venue. They housed a few in the arena portion where at times it would light up with during concerts and events. They also had other Tesla coils inside their museum which would light up with a stroke of a key from a piano. I know, I just jumped ahead, but they do have a museum inside Boeing Center. I wasn’t able to go in due to the concert, but I already have it noted to visit the museum the next chance I get. Additionally, I didn’t go into the food court either as it was so packed with people attending the concert. From I’m told, the coffee is amazing there! I know that is the second thing I’ll be going to after visiting the museum inside Boeing Center.
Then, I looked inside the gaming area and it was pretty cool. I saw so many PC’s ready for action with gamers playing either casually or professionally. They also have had Esports competitions in their venue due to their high standard of technology inside Boeing Center. I saw they were already downloading Spiderman 2 to the PC’s and I’m like they are up to date on their gaming.
I’m excited to visit Boeing Center again soon to check out another concert, check out their museum, check out more of their gaming events, and much more. Boeing Center at Tech Port is providing San Antonio with place to have fun with friends and family either with music, events, gaming, or just laughing to jokes while drinking coffee.
